Before You Start
You must be a Super Admin or an Admin with session management permissions
Sessions are created under Develop → Sessions
Overview
Session creation is a four-step wizard: Session Details → Schedule & Timing → Session Settings → Invite Attendees. The wizard starts by asking which type of session you want to create a New Session (live event, can have multiple days) or a Recorded Session (pre-recorded content for Talents to watch at any time).
Start Creating a Session
Go to Develop → Sessions
Click + New Session in the top right corner
In the modal that appears, choose:
New Session — for a live training event with one or more scheduled dates
Recorded Session — to upload a recording or link for Talents to watch
Step 1: Session Details
This step is identical for both session types.
Select the Language — English or Arabic
Enter the Session's Name
Enter a Description
Select the Session's Type from the dropdown — Event, Webinar, Seminar, Program, or Certificate
Select any Linked Competencies the session will develop (optional)
Click Next
Step 2: Schedule & Timing
For a New Session
A New Session can happen across multiple days. Each day is added as a separate block.
Under Day 1, select the Date, Start Time, and Duration
To add more session days, click + Another Day
Fill in the date, start time, and duration for each additional day
Click Next
For a Recorded Session
A Recorded Session has a single date only.
Select the Date, Start Time, and Duration
Click Next
Step 3: Session Settings
For a New Session
Under Setting, select Online or On-Site
If Online: 2. Under Choose How to Host the Session, select one:
External Link — paste your meeting link in the Session Host External Link field
Whereby — use Lumofy's Whereby-integrated room (no external link needed)
Select an Instructor from the dropdown, or click Add External Instructor to add someone not in Lumofy
Click Next
If On-Site: 2. Enter the Location Name where the session will take place 3. Select an Instructor or add an external instructor 4. Click Next
For a Recorded Session
Under Setting, select Online or On-Site
In the Session Recording section, either:
Click or drag a file into the Upload Record area (single file or bulk upload supported), or
Paste a URL in the Enter the link to the content field
Select an Instructor or add an external instructor
Click Next

Step 4: Invite Attendees
To invite specific Talents:
Search by name or filter by Department or Job Role
Check the box next to each Talent you want to add
To make the session available to all Talents in the organisation, toggle on Open for All
Click Next to finish creating the session
💡 Tip: You can add more Talents after the session is created. Go to the session's Attendees tab and click Add Talents.

Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet integrations are not yet available. Currently, only External Link and Whereby are supported for online sessions.
