Before You Begin
Only admins and super admins can reset a performance sheet.
Sheets at any status can be reset.
Resetting does not affect existing review scores. Reset items are archived and remain visible on the talent's performance profile for reference.
After a reset, the talent must enter new data and resubmit through the normal approval flow.
What Resetting a Sheet Does
When an admin resets a talent's performance sheet, the sections selected in the Reset Scope are cleared and archived. The archived data stays visible in the talent's performance profile under a separate Archived section, so review scores and history are preserved. The talent then enters fresh data and resubmits when done.
A sheet can be reset more than once during the same cycle if needed.
How to Reset a Sheet (Admin)
Go to Performance in the left navigation and open Performance Cycles.
Select the cycle, then click the Participants tab.
In the Talents List, click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu in the Action column next to the talent.
Select Reset Sheet.
The Reset Sheet modal opens showing the talent's name and a notice that existing review scores will not be affected.
Enter a Reset reason explaining why the sheet is being reset.
Under Reset Scope, check the sections to reset:
Goals — archives all existing goals. The talent enters new goals from scratch.
Competencies — when checked, a Select Competencies section appears. Choose which competencies to include in the refreshed sheet and set the weight for each one.
Training Needs — resets all training needs entries.
Click Reset Sheet.
What the Talent Sees
After the reset, the talent receives a notification. When they open their performance sheet they see a Reset Reasonsection at the top showing the admin's note, who requested the reset, and the date.
The sheet is fully editable. The talent enters new goals, competency data, and training needs as applicable, then clicks Submit for Manager Approval to resubmit.
How Archived Data Appears
In the Performance Profile view, when a sheet has been reset:
A notice states: "This talent's goals have been reset one or more times during this cycle. Scores and goal counts above reflect current active goals only. Archived goals and their review scores are listed separately below."
The Goals breakdown in the Reviews Breakdown section shows Current Goals (entered after the reset) and Archived Goals (from before the reset) in separate sections, each with their scores.
