Before You Start

  • This article is for Admins / HR Professionals.

  • Access to company-wide settings depends on your assigned permissions.

  • Some settings affect all users in your organization.

Overview

To access Settings as a Super Admin:

  1. Select your profile avatar.

  2. Select Settings.

Settings lets you manage both personal preferences and organization-wide controls. It is divided into Your Account for settings that apply to you and Company Settings for settings that affect your organization, including authentication, notifications, plans, roles, and permissions.

Managing Your General Account Settings

Use General to manage your account Timezone and Two-Factor Authentication.

Setting Your Timezone

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Select General under Your Account.

  3. Select your Timezone.

  4. Select Save Changes.

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Open the Authentication section under General.

  2. Turn on the Two-Factor Authentication toggle.

  3. Scan the displayed QR code using an authenticator app.

  4. Enter the authentication code generated by the app.

  5. Select Verify.

📝 Note: Two-Factor Authentication is not enabled until you verify the authentication code.

If you have previously scanned the QR code, scan it again before completing verification. Select Cancel if you want to discard your unsaved changes.

Changing Your Password

  1. Open Password under Your Account.

  2. Enter your new password.

  3. Enter the same password again in the confirmation field.

  4. Review the password requirements displayed on the page.

  5. Select Change Password.

Your password must:

  • Contain 8–32 characters.

  • Include at least 1 lowercase letter.

  • Include at least 1 uppercase letter.

  • Include at least 1 special character, such as !, @, or #.

💡 Tip: Use the eye icon to show or hide the password while entering it.

Managing Your Personal Notifications

Use Notifications under Your Account to choose which learning-related emails you receive.

You can manage:

  • Weekly emails for progress, upcoming sessions, and recommended content.

  • 3 days due reminders before a learning deadline.

  • 7 days due reminders before assigned learning is due.

Reviewing Your Company Plan

Open Plan under Company Settings to review your organization's license information.

The Plan Summary displays:

  • License start date

  • Expiration Date

  • Time Remaining

  • Number of Used Licenses against your total available licenses

Select Talk with Account Manager if you need support with renewals or license capacity.

Managing Company Email Notifications

Use Notifications under Company Settings to control automated emails sent to users across your organization.

Available notification types include:

  • Weekly emails

  • 1, 3, and 7 day due reminders

  • Reset password emails

  • Item/Path enrollment emails

  • Live sessions enrollment emails

  • Competency evaluation emails

Turn each notification option on or off based on your organization's requirements.

Managing Roles & Permissions

Use Roles & Permissions under Company Settings to control what users can view and manage across the platform.

Users have a primary role, such as Admin or Manager, which determines their standard level of access. You can review the permissions assigned to each role and, where supported, limit access to Own Team Only.

You can also create Permission Sets to give selected users additional access without changing their primary role.

📝 Note: For detailed instructions on primary roles, permission scopes, permission dependencies, and creating Permission Sets, see User Roles & Permissions.

Managing Company Authentication

Use Authentication under Company Settings to manage platform-wide authentication and login options.

Requiring Two-Factor Authentication

Enable Two-Factor Authentication platform-wide to require users in your organization to configure Two-Factor Authentication.

⚠️ Warning: Enabling this setting affects authentication requirements across your organization.

Setting the Session Timeout

  1. Locate Session Timeout.

  2. Select the inactivity period.

  3. Choose from Never, 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes.

  4. Once you select a session timeout period, the setting is saved automatically.

When a timeout is configured, users are automatically logged out after the selected period of inactivity.

Adding a Login App

  1. Locate Login Apps.

  2. Select Add.

  3. Select SAML2.

  4. Complete the available configuration.

  5. Select Finish to save the app.

A newly added app displays Awaiting IDP setup until your identity provider configuration is completed.
