Overview
In Quiz Configurations you decide what counts as passing and how Talent can retake a quiz. This covers the Passing Score, the number of attempts, the Quiz Timer, and whether Talent sees the correct answer after submitting.
Set the Passing Score
In the Quiz Configurations step, go to Quiz Score.
Toggle Enable Scoring on.
In Quiz Score, enter the full score for the quiz (for example, 100).
In Passing Score, enter the minimum score Talent must reach to pass (for example, 70).
The engine compares each attempt against the Passing Score and marks it as passed or failed.
📝 Note: If Enable Scoring is off, the quiz runs as a knowledge check with no pass or fail result, so no Passing Score applies.
Control Retakes
In the Quiz Configurations step, go to Specifications.
In Number of Attempts, enter how many times Talent can take the quiz.
Each attempt is recorded, so you and the Talent can see how performance changes across tries.
💡 Tip: Set Number of Attempts to 1 if the quiz is a final assessment that should be taken only once.
Set a Time Limit
In Specifications, toggle Quiz Timer on.
Enter the duration in minutes.
When the timer runs out, the attempt ends and is submitted with the answers given so far.
Show the Correct Answer
In Specifications, toggle Show Talent Correct Answer on.
After Talent submits, they see which answers were correct.
⚠️ Warning: With Show Talent Correct Answer on, Talent sees the correct answers after submitting. Leave it off for a quiz that allows retakes, so answers are not revealed between attempts.
