Assigning Pathways

Learn how to enrol Talents into a published pathway, set due dates, and manage enrolments.

Written by Mohamed Shantory

Before You Start

  • You must be a Super Admin or an Admin with content management permissions. Managers cannot assign Pathways

  • The Pathway must be published before you can enrol Talents into it

  • If the Pathway contains an assessment, each enrolment costs one Assessment Credit. Check your available credit balance before enrolling a large group

Overview

Enrolling Talents into a Pathway is done from the Pathway's Enrolments tab. You select a due date, choose the Talents you want to enrol, and confirm. Enrolled Talents receive an email and an in-app notification about their new assignment.

How to Enrol Talents

  1. Go to Develop → Pathways and open the Pathway you want to assign

  2. Click the Enrolments tab

  3. Click Enrol Talents

  4. A two-step modal will appear

Step 1: Set Due Date

Select a Due Date for when Talents should complete the Pathway. This is optional you can leave it blank if there is no deadline.

Click Next to proceed to Talent selection.

Step 2: Select Talents

You will see a list of all Talents in your organization. From here:

  • Use the search bar to find Talents by name

  • Use the Department filter to narrow by department

  • Use the Job Role filter to narrow by role

  • Check the box next to each Talent you want to enrol — or check the top box to select all

  • The counter at the top shows: Selected Talents, Assessment Credit balance, and Credit for enrolment

  • Click Save Changes to confirm enrolment

Each enrolled Talent will receive an email notification and an in-app notification informing them of their new Pathway assignment and due date.

💡 Tip: Use the Department and Job Role filters to quickly find and select a specific group of Talents. You can select across multiple pages before saving.

Assessment Credits

If the Pathway contains an assessment (Pre Assessment, Post Assessment, or AI Assessment), each enrolment uses 1 Assessment Credit from your organization's credit balance.

The modal shows three numbers:

  • Assessment Credit — your current available credit balance

  • Selected Talents — the number of Talents you have selected

  • Credit for enrolment — the number of credits that will be deducted when you confirm

⚠️ Warning: If your Assessment Credit balance is lower than the number of Talents you are enrolling, the enrolment will be limited by the available credits. Check your balance before enrolling large groups into Pathways that contain assessments.

Self-Enrollment

If self-enrollment is enabled on a Pathway, Talents can discover and enrol themselves without Admin action. Admins enable this setting during Pathway creation or by editing the Pathway afterwards.

📝 Note: Self-enrolled Talents will not have a due date unless one is set by the Admin at the Pathway level.
