Before You Begin
Talent assessments are available when competencies have been assigned to you in an active performance cycle.
Each competency shows your current rating level: Skilled, Expert, Super Expert, or similar based on your most recent completed assessment.
Assessments have a time limit and require a stable internet connection. Answers are saved automatically as you progress.
How to Access the Competencies Development Page
Go to My Performance in the top navigation bar, or click View All in the My Competencies section of your dashboard.
The Competencies Development page opens, showing all competencies assigned to you.
Reading Your Competency Cards
Each competency is displayed as a card showing:
Competency name and cluster group (e.g., Finance Operation, Critical Thinking)
Current rating — your most recent rating (e.g., Skilled, Expert, Super Expert)
Next assessment date — when you can take the assessment again (shown when a cooldown period applies)
Action buttons — Develop (go to related learning content) and Take Assessment (start the assessment)
Some cards may show Top Level Achieved if you have reached the highest possible rating for that competency.
Starting an Assessment
Find the competency you want to assess and click Take Assessment.
The Assessment Instructions panel opens. Review the details before starting:
Number of Questions — total questions in the assessment
Duration — time allowed to complete it (e.g., 25 mins)
Difficulty Level — the difficulty tier of the questions
Read the Important Before You Start notice: make sure your internet connection is stable. Your answers are saved continuously, but losing connection during the assessment may interrupt your session.
Click Start Assessment to begin.
Answering Questions
The assessment opens a dedicated question screen. Each question shows:
A scenario — a realistic work situation relevant to the competency
Multiple choice options — select the answer that best fits the scenario
Navigate between questions using Previous and Next at the bottom of the screen.
Your progress is shown in the progress bar at the top.
Exiting or Completing an Assessment
To leave the assessment without finishing, click Exit Assessment. Your progress up to that point may be saved depending on the assessment configuration.
Once you answer the last question and click Next, the assessment is submitted automatically.
After completion, your competency card updates to reflect your new rating — which may take a short time to process.
